Stephen Hawkins is a person in recovery dedicated to helping others overcome the barriers of behavioral health disorders. Through my own struggles with substance use, homelessness, and various related issues, I was introduced to the world of recovery on December 14, 2019. Since then, I have learned a great deal about myself, including how to be a positive member of my community, what true relationships look like, and how to be someone my family can depend on. During this time, I discovered a passion for helping others facing similar challenges and emotions.
In March of 2021, I was introduced to Voices of Hope, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. Today, I oversee operations in Cecil County, ensuring our peers carry out our mission and vision within the community.
