Staff Spotlight

Kasey is humble, endearing, and endlessly inquisitive. Her story is not only inspiring, but a true testament to the power of recovery.

Kasey’s journey with Voices of Hope began as a participant. While at Brantwood Family Services, she started volunteering with Voices—already showing her commitment to giving back. That dedication soon led to her full-time role as a Peer Recovery Specialist.

Since joining the team, Kasey has continued to grow and expand her impact. She is now part of our S-PED team, a partnership between Christiana Care, Cecil County Health Department, and Voices of Hope. In this role, Peer Recovery Specialists work directly inside the hospital, offering immediate recovery support and connecting people to resources.

Kasey recently earned her Community Health Certification and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, a reflection of her commitment to learning and professional growth.

She is always willing to step up where needed, whether that means helping with early morning transports or supporting the evolving needs of the organization. Kasey’s lived experience, along with her deep understanding of the Cecil County community and its local resources, makes her an invaluable part of the team.

Most importantly, Kasey approaches her work with heart. She is always eager to learn, grow, and support others on their recovery journeys.

Thank you, Kasey, for everything you do.
It has been incredible watching you flourish—continuing to grow in your recovery, as a mother, and as a dedicated member of the Voices of Hope team.
