Aaron Wright is a Philadelphia native that came to Cecil County, MD in 2015 to sustain recovery. From never meeting his father to raising 4 children with a wife also in recovery, from being homeless for 4 years to owning a home, and from being a detriment to society to becoming a prominent member of the community. Aaron is a living testament that despite all odds, chains can be broken, and has been in long term recovery since January 2015 from all mood and mind altering substances.
At Voices of Hope, Aaron has helped create, implement, and manage all programs and data collection systems providing services to the community. Aaron was a volunteer for the organization from 2015 to 2019 and now employed he has found his calling in helping heal his community. Aaron now has been called to advocate on local, county, and state levels to educate and reduce the stigma associated with addiction and recovery.
