We are expressing our gratitude for the Cecil County Health Department, Brantwood Family Services, Johns Hopkins and all our staff, volunteers and community supporters for making the testing event on Tuesday, March 16, a great success. In 4 hours, 29 individuals were tested for HIV and/or Hep C. Those who tested positive were connected to Johns Hopkins treatment providers and given a plan for treatment. We are hopeful that this event will be followed by more opportunities for low barrier testing and connections to treatment, for a safer and healthier Cecil County!
