Position Title: Full Time Administrative Assistant to Chief Operations Officer
Reports Directly To: Chief Operations Officer
Reports Indirectly To: Executive Director
Location: Varies
Pay Range: $16-$18 Depending on experience. Full time: 32-40 hours per week with benefits: life insurance, dental, health insurance stipend, short term disability. Schedule will be generally Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional nights and weekends for events.

SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant will provide direct administrative support to the Chief Operations Officer and other staff at Voices of Hope as needed. Must have experience and comfort with Excel spreadsheets and Google Drive applications. Successful candidates will be trained on specific projects and customized software. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to prioritize, communicate through email, be responsive and take pride
in their attention to detail. Ability to provide ethical leadership through a trauma informed care setting is required.

1. Accurate and timely completion of data entry.
2. Communication for this position is a must.
1. Must be familiar with Stages of Change, Motivational Interviewing and Active Listening.
2. CCAR RCA within 60 days of hire (Voices will provide)
3. Attend Voices of Hope volunteer orientation
4. Attend Voices of Hope Narcan Train the Trainer
5. Valid Driver’s License
6. Must pass a pre employment drug screen
7. Must be familiar with Excel spreadsheets and Google Drive applications
8. Ability to prioritize, communicate through email and be responsive
9. Must demonstrate attention to detail and follow through on tasks as assigned
10. Must be familiar with Zoom platform
11. Must be familiar with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Eventbrite, Instagram, Twitter)
12.Experience with creating budgets in Excel a plus
13.Familiarity with Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Credentialing Process
14.Experience with volunteer recruitment and retention
15.Experience with Event planning and execution a plus
16.Maintaining a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and other communication opportunities.
17.Assists in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.
18. Prepares accurate records and reports.

The job functions of this position require that the Peer Recovery Specialist to be in the outdoors as needed in all weather including but not limited to rain, snow sleet, high wind, cold, heat, and may be exposed to biting and/or stinging insects to include but not limited to ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, flies and bees. Extensive walking and standing is required of this position to participate in community events and outreach activities.

Voices of Hope will provide office spaces, meeting spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, porches and lawns that need to be cleaned and maintained regularly.
Voices of Hope follows CDC Guidelines for essential workers during COVID. Masks will be provided, hand sanitizers and temperatures may be taken for certain events.
