Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in giving back to your community? Voices of Hope is always looking for passionate members of the recovery community or allies & advocates who want to make a positive difference!

Attend a Volunteer Engagement Meeting! This is a great way to dip your toes in the Voices of Hope volunteer community. Help pack lunches, write cards for individuals in treatment, or help us prepare for events at our VEG meetings!

You don’t even have to register to attend! Just simply show up to our Cecil Center! You can find our VEG meeting schedule on our Events Calendar.

Attend an upcoming Volunteer Orientation! We would not be able to function without the support of our volunteers who help out anywhere from outreach events, syringe clean ups, transportation, or treatment coordination, and so much more!

If you are ready to start volunteering now, you can sign up for an upcoming Volunteer Orientation! Before signing up, make sure you look over our Volunteer Program Requirements:

  • Volunteers in recovery must have a minimum of 90 consecutive days of clean time to be a volunteer with Voices of Hope. Family members and Allies are always welcome!
  • Volunteers must be at least 16 yrs of age to volunteer with Voices of Hope. Anyone under the age of 18 must have Parental Consent on file. *Underaged volunteers are not allowed to assist with Outreach Walks.
  • Cecil Harm volunteers must complete approximately 40 hours within a 2 month period in on-site assistance before they will be allowed to engage in off-site Outreach walks.
