On March 16, 2021, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, specialists from Johns Hopkins will be providing walk-in testing for Hep C and HIV at the Cecil Community Recovery Center at 409 W. Pulaski Hwy in Elkton, MD. Those who test positive will be linked to specialists for treatment that day. The same service will be provided to individuals who know they have Hep C or HIV but have fallen out of care or treatment. If you, or someone you love, is curious about their status, please encourage them to come. No appointment is necessary. Individuals will be confidentially tested in our trauma-informed care setting with support by trained Peer Recovery Specialists. If transportation is a barrier, please call (443) 993-7055 and press option 3 to make arrangements.
