Recovery Coaching A Harm Reduction Pathway Training

This is an eight-teen hour training that focuses upon harm reduction as a pathway of recovery. Many individuals in the recovery field are trying to define harm reduction and its relationship to recovery. Is it a pathway of recovery, where does it fit in recovery practice and can someone say they are in recovery when they are practicing harm reduction?
This training allows individuals to grapple with these issues. The training will define harm reduction as a practice and as a social movement, provide an opportunity for participants to exam their beliefs and values around a harm reduction pathway of recovery, compare and contrast principles of harm reduction and recovery coaching.

CEUs: 18 CEUs in the following domains: 3.5 CEUs in Wellness and Recovery Domain, 4.5 CEUs in Ethics, 5.5 CEUs in Advocacy and 4.5 CEUs in Mentoring and Education.
